The hernia belt is for right or left side reducible inguinal (groin) hernia's only. Reducible means the hernia can be relieved or pushed back into the abdomen by relaxation, lying supine or local pressure.
All underwear is ok to wear under the hernia belt but 'shorts underwear' is more comfortable as shown in the images.
The ability to do different exercises varies from person to person. You will feel the excellent support the hernia belt provides allowing you to do more exercise.
Handwash gently in warm water and leave to dry on a towel. Many customers don't think it's necessary to wash the hernia pad or they only wash it once every few months.
This is easy to do and should be done when the hernia is reduced while you are in the supine position, for example lying in bed.
